Game of Stones

Thanks to Everyone who took the trouble to view, comment or fave.

Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument in Wiltshire, one of the most famous sites in the World

Recently on the telly, Laurence Llewelyn - Bowen has been striding purposefully around Stonehenge with paint colour charts pretending that he was intending to paint the stones for a spoof advert.

He reminded me of this shot I took (painted using lights), one night shortly after President Obama visited Stonehenge last time that Air Force One touched down in England - (The President said he'd always wanted to tick Stonehenge off his bucket list).

This shot demonstrates the concept of passive light painting - takes a bit of planning, but then you just have to point your camera in the right place & then the lighting's sorted for you.....

Bob's your uncle, Fanny's your Aunt.

Ambient lighting provided by the Full Moon (out of shot) & stars,

Very very faint Intermittent light painting on the front faces of the stones by distant car headlights (from the incessant stream of cars travelling Southwest on the A303)

Blue LED lighting inside Stonehenge by the security guards who were looking for me ;)

I'm much too fast - no worries!

Good game though :)
