Revelation

This was supposed to be a 3-D shot using the basic setup deviised for HDR shots.

As I expected, the separation between the lenses needs to be increased by a factor including the crop ratio in addition to the focal length for propper paralax.

Since this shot has barely enough paralx for a 3-D effect and looked pretty good with a 16x9 crop; I processed it as a normal shot.

I need to increase the camera separation before proceeding with more 3-D shots.

The 3-D work has shown me that the paralax is indeed less than expected; but may still be enough to complicate HDR shots.

I have also learned more about exposures from my HDR experiments to convice me to resume the thurough exposure analisys that I used to think was beyond the point of deminishing returns. After completeing work on precisely how lens focal length and distance effect exposure; I will resume my experiments with HDR and 3-D with fireworks.
