A good camera gone silent
Several years ago I traded this camera for a Polaroid camera. The friend who had it used it to take many pictures of oscilloscope screens. He no longer uses it and returned it to me. I still get to keep the Polaroid.
I could write a small book about this Olympus D-600L.
It would contain chapters about a camera that “takes a lickin and keeps on clickin” and how “Sometimes stupid consumers cause the demise of excellent designs”.
But the purpose of this photo was to further push the limits of skrim lighting. This is the first time I have exceeded those limits. Yet it has given hints to ways of improving photographs of lenses.
I had previously used camcorder / frame grabber combinations and scanners to create digital photographs; but this was my very first DSLR. This angle gives only a hint of the head turning Buck Rogers Ray Gun styling possessed by this camera. Watch for more photos of this camera in the future.
