Week 11 - Landscape
This man-made lake was destined to be filled in, taking away the nesting place of black swans, ducks, pelicans, spoonbills and ibis. After an outcry the area was allowed to remain and the bird population seems happy to live side by side with industry. It is a haven in our crazy, busy port area.
