Sedum

Such a lovely colour to this low growing, spreading variety of a succulent plant with parentage within the Sedum genus. It presents as a beautiful mat of bright lime-green foliage resembling moss. The leaves are tender and soft.

 

It also produces masses of bright yellow flowers in spring.

 

Here, I chose to focus on one area with heavy depth of field.

 

This is Sedum var. Goldilocks, growing to 10 cm in height and a spread of around 45 cm in diameter.
