Napoleon in rehab

On a visit to the rehab station Wildlife Works Inc. in Youngwood, Pennsylvania, I met Napoleon, an American kestrel. I couldn't get past his pantaloons, quite cocky attitude and name - and thought an appropriate one pertaining to the famed, self-proclaimed Emperor. He did make me smile.

From the Facebook page of Wildlife Works Inc....'Napoleon the kestrel is one of our resident educational animals. Napoleon was imprinted as a baby by someone wanting to keep him as a pet and as a result has been sentenced to spending life in captivity. He oversees day to day activities in the hospital area, goes to outreach and educational programs and loves having his picture taken'.
