Vantage point

I enjoyed observing this little jumping spider for a good while, following her through the foliage. It was interesting to note that there was a pattern of sorts, with definite preferred vantage points from which to watch for potential prey.

 

Here, she had made her way on to a sandstone rock next to an aloe plant, where she remained for 15 minutes, forever alert.
