184 Congress MALLORY Lewis Residence undated
A view of the Lewis Mallory, Sr. home (and an impressive Queen Anne style neighbor to the south-still standing) taken in the early 20th century. Although the balcony front porch is a later edition, (it was originally open, see early postcard view) the house is shown essentially as it was built in 1895. Much of the decorative exterior elements shown in this photo are missing today and the former mansion has been divided into five apartments but the interior finishes and details are largely intact.
