1880's Eastlake-Queen Anne house Galion Ohio

At first glance, this decidedly Victorian era house looks like many others in Galion, Ohio. But a closer look shows this is an ornamental confection. If the house were picked out in period colors the wealth of details would become evident. I especially like the "spider web" like windows which are probably derived from 18th century Georgian era originals. Galion is a nice smaller community west of Mansfield where the past is evident on almost every street. If this property ever comes on the market, I want to be the first to know about it because it's one of my favorites in Galion and Ohio overall. The owners were wise to put a durable metal roof on the house as it can last a century or more.
