There is definitely a case of caveat emptor to be had here. Nothing like seeing signs in the shops that read "Special Discount for Brave Tourist" ... but then finding prices are 3-4 times more expensive than other shops.

 

Note that you can get much of the same gifts online. Google for "olive wood gifts" and you'll find many sites including the tastefully named "holyland-wholesale".
