Clothes workshop
The Rohingya are Myanmar muslims from Rakhine state who continue to be treated appalingly and denied citizenship by the 'democratic' government of their homeland. In late 2017, stories of brutality and ethnic cleansing by Aung San Suu Kyi's troops remain widespread, despite blanket denials from Myanmar.
Faced with a life made impossible in Myanmar, many Rohingya are forced to flee across the Naaf River into Bangladesh. There their plight is often little better, with tens of thousands confined to refugee camps which struggle to provide adequate security, healthcare and education. This is one such camp close to the Myanmar/Bangladesh border.
