We wish to thank Sen. Sanders for having the courage to disassociate the false association of Arabic language with violence and terror. We wish to thank him for recognizing that Arabic is the mother tongue of more than 300 million learned, civilized, cultured, and accomplished human beings across the world, and millions of Muslim and Arab American citizens.
