Back in October 2013, we too were excited that the Iranian and American presidents broke 34 years of diplomatic silence between our countries by speaking on the phone with each other. President Rouhani tweeted that at the end of their collegial conversation President Obama had said goodbye [khodahafez] in Persian : )
