A special Trout Brook turn

This image was captured at the Trout Brook Turntable during the June 2025 "Road to Togus" event, which commemorated WW&F #9's prior service on the Kennebec Central from 1924 to 1929. The Kennebec Central was a 5-mile long, 2-foot gauge short line that provided passenger and freight service between the City of Randolph, Maine and the National Soldier's Home in nearby Togus from 1890 to 1929. For over half a century, Togus was home to hundreds of Maine's Civil War.
