Drifting off Cockeye Curve
With her cylinder cocks open, the Wiscasset, Waterville & Farmington Railway Museum's Locomotive #10 drifts through Cockeye Curve with a packed passenger train, during the museum's 2009 Victorian Christmas event. On most operating days, the WW&F Museum trains follow a published schedule, but during Victorian Christmas, the crowds of visitors were typically so large that the train would operate back and forth between Sheepscot Station and Alna Center, just as fast as the crews could turn them at either end.
