Single Strip Square Curlicue by Assia Brill
This is an amazing action model and it's not so hard to make. ( Yes, this is my first try and I know it's not perfect like Assia's but I like it. ) Mine's folded from a strip of paper that's 99 cm by 5 cm by 1 cm. ( That means that the length of the paper is 99 cm, one side is 5 cm and then the paper makes a slight diagonal ONLY ON ONE SIDE and it goes down to 1 cm ). It's a fun model and it took me just about 10 min. ( Of course it really depends on the size of the strip that you're using. ) It's diagrammed in her book "Curlicue: Kinetic Origami".
You can buy it on:
Or on:
www.amazon.com/gp/product/1494234939/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=U...
You should go get the book, but I should go get it too as soon as I can because I folded this from the video tutorial on happyfolding.com - enjoy origami online.
Hope you like this amazing model by Assia Brill.
