12/52 - Waiting for Spring
Spring hasn't sprung in my part of Canada yet. Everything is still grey and dreary. I set out this week to find SOMETHING with a bit of colour (I've been envious of those posting in the 52 weeks group who are enjoying Spring weather), but was quite unsuccessful except for some pine trees, and I just wasn't feeling them.
I actually had a few choices for this week, and I had a hard time choosing, but it came down to this one because it shows how much Gracie's golden fur stands out in this weather (of course I added some saturation, but her winter coat is quite a bit darker than her summer coat). The only thing I wish was different is how dark her eyes are, but I guess that's just natural and we can't do too much about it, especially from a distance!
So overall, Gracie and I are sick of this weather! Well, maybe not so much Gracie, she does enjoy playing "Chocolate Lab" everyday. But I'm demanding Mother Nature bring on the warmth and flowers!
