Epigenetic Method Simplified
Simplified representation of the enrichment process used within the EmbryoGENE epigenetic platform. Following a genome-wide digestion by the MseI enzyme, adapters are ligated to the sticky ends of the genomic fragments. The fragments are then digested using methyl-sensitive endonucleases (HpaII, AciI, HinP1I). Only the undigested fragments proceed to be exponentially amplified by the ligation-mediated PCR.
