Western x Hepatic Tanager
A Western x Hepatic Tanager found at Boot Spring in Big Bend National Park. The bird's orange wing bars (no white spots) are visible in this photo. The bird was also singing continually, and the song was very similar to that of a full-blooded hepatic. I initially thought the bird was a Hepatic x Flame-colored Hybrid, but it turns out that it looks more like a Western x Hepatic.
