Golden Crowned Kinglet

These birds have recently invaded the barren looking forests of Southern Ontario - the recent windstorms sweeping many trees clean of the golden leaves of autumn. Still always a challenge to photograph, they are among the fastest birds in the trees, small agile and incredibly hardy they can easily survive extreme temperatures and still find food and water.
