Amanda & eggplant
This is one in a series of diptychs I am working on. The women are photographed in the studio and the fruit in my dining room. I have had each of the girls choose the fruit or vegetable they want to be paired with. This has been a joyful experience working with such enthusiastic ladies and seeing what fruit they chose. This is Amanda. She said she wanted to choose something that was hard to find because that's what she always does. This striped eggplant is only available part of the year. She also said she loves purple and pink. Afterall, check out the color of her hair.!
