Cucumber spider (Araniella) on an Oxeye daisy
It looks like she has tied the petals down with silk to make a nest for herself.
I have been watching her for a day or two now, and she keeps moving from flower to flower, presumably during the night. She has survived a hailstorm, a pigeon flapping past the daisies, and now some hot weather. When she moves, I struggle to find her again, as there are maybe 100 or so oxeye daisies in my garden.
