American Golden Plover, on the Exe Estuary, near Turf Locks
This isn't a good photo, but this could be a rare bird, so I'm uploading for an ID mainly.
There were some excited bird spotters on the Exe estuary today. It was all about this plover. I don't know much about birds, but I'll add this to some bird ID groups and see if this is a rare sight or not.
.... People are telling me it's an American Golden Plover! Probably a female.
