Pak 36 with Stielgranate 41

Up until 1942, the Pak 36 was an extremely reliable anti-tank gun. However, as allied tanks began to increase armor thickness, the 36 became ineffective. Introduced in 1943, the Stielgranate 41 greatly increased the Pak 36’s anti-tank capabilities. Unfortunately, units quickly realized the short range of the weapon which made them extremely vulnerable to allied fire.
