Ilum
Log_#T3:
Bothan spies have located an Imperial facility on Ilum, and I have been instructed to go and investigate what the Empire is doing on the planet.
In order to remain unnoticed, I, among other brave Rebels, have been dispatched on the outskirts of the frozen planet. Unfortunately, this means trekking across the hazardous terrain.
I checked my chonometer after some time, and to my dismay discovered I had been walking for nearly 3 hours and had seen nothing. However, based on my current coordinates and the facility's coordinates as given by the spies, I knew I was getting close.
The cold, as well as the frequent gusts of wind, were getting to me, and I tightened my scarf about my face.
I took out my macrobinoculars, and lo and behold, I spotted a small transmission tower. After determining that there was no one remotely close to it, I hurried over.
Upon reaching the clearly-marked Imperial transmitter, I discovered that it sat overlooking a large drop-off. To my joy, far down below sat the Imperial facility.
I took out my macrobinoculars once again, and inspected the facility. Several Imperial transports were active, including 109-Z Hovercrafts and several Armored Personal Carriers, as well as speeders. It appeared that they were gathering minerals from the caves, which, I assumed, must be kyber crystals. Perhaps they are attempting to prevent any new Jedi uprising by harvesting all the available kyber crystals.
While I would have liked to investigate further, getting any closer would be near suicide, as the facility was also heavily armored; not to mention the multiple AT-STs and AT-ATs. Moreover, I was getting extremely cold. I retreated to my ship and headed back to the rendezvous point. Perhaps others got more information than I did.

Greetings all! This was quite a fun build, as it was the first time I could really try the snowscaping technique by Isaac. I really like how it turned out! Additionally, my brother and I recently acquired a fog machine, and this was my first time trying it out for a LEGO build.
