Al-Khahr
Greetings all! Another Middle-Eastern themed Summer Joust build, this was built for the Homestead category. Once again inspired by John. This build is largely based it off of an Age of Empires II home (I'm sure you can see which one ;).
I had loads of fun building this (fun fact, I built 90% of it in one day). I had a tricky time determining how to do the banners, and I think what I came up with is original (correct me if I'm wrong), and I am very pleased with it. I decided to not make it modular, thus the back has several cutouts which actually look like it was designed that way.
