Das Gemälde zeigt ein Bild im Bild. Ein von mir gemalter Autofriedhof auf einer Wiese in der Mitte. Es sind Autos, damals billige Gebrauchte Fahrzeuge, die ich mir bis zur nächsten Reparatur leisten konnte und in denen ich um 1970 als junger Mann selbst gefahren bin - ein Erinnerungsbild für mich. Ein alter BMW V8 zwängt sich unter dem Bilderrahmen auf die Mal-Palette.
The painting shows a picture in the picture. A painted by me junkyard on a meadow in the middle. They are cars, at that time cheap used vehicles, which I could afford until the next repair and in which I drove myself around 1970 as a young man myself - a souvenir for me. An old BMW V8 squeezes under the picture frame on the paint palette.
