Für die Hafenszene zu Beginn der Rokoko-Oper Zanaida malte ich als nächstes Kulissenbild Reste einer antiken Bebauung. Eine lockere, kleine, entdeckte Barockskizze diente mir als Vorbild für die Verwirklichung zum großen Gemälde.
For the harbor scene at the beginning of the rococo opera Zanaida I painted next backdrop image remains of an ancient building. A loose, small, discovered baroque sketch served me as a model for the realization of the large painting.
