she has those crazy loose bicycling knees, so she couldn't stand up for the group shot. She also has a condition issue because her previous "mommy" gave her some permanent blue marker "makeup" which is holding up against my best efforts so far.

Maybe she will just have to spend her life in sunglasses.

she is wearing headbands in an effort to get her new haircut to lay smooth - her previous "mommy" gave her a pretty vicious chop job and one result was a standing cockade that would make a cockatoo proud. I have cut her hair even more in the hope of achieving a sporty bob ... fingers crossed.

I find her adorable. I was afraid of losing her lovely curls when she went into the hot soapy bath with all the rest, but I'm relieved that they stood the test pretty well.

The tub and commode are KidKraft pieces.

 

The stone BBQ Grill poses a bit of a mystery to me, mainly because of the color. It is clearly made in the same mold as the grill from the Barbie So Much To Do Picnic Table and Barbecue Grill Playset - 1995 Arcotoys, Mattel - #67032 - BUT, that grill is a turquoise blue color in every reference that I can find, rather than this straw-yellow color ... perhaps the same mold was used again for a different set, but I have yet to find it.

The logs and fire in the pit also differ from the blue playset model - ?? I prefer both this color and the 3D fire - the grill rack and rotisserie are missing, but I can make a replacement rack.
