Mormon Row Mono

Mormon Row just after dawn in Grand Teton National Park. The contrasts in this scene were so vivid in color yet looked promising for a monotone.

I really needed to do some "image work" this morning to decompress a little. This week has been real crazy with much time spent at the hospital for all the stuff leading up to, and after, emergency surgery for my wife. She's doing just fine. Rest and relaxation for her while I've got a few "extra" things to do now. :)

So, needless to say, I've gotten way behind on my contacts new images. I apologize for that but hope to get active little by little over the coming days.

Five bracketed exposures using an exposure compensation of -2/3 for a darker set.

Nikon D300 @ ISO 200, Tokina 12-24mm f/4 Pro @ 24mm & f/16, Nikon polarizer, tripod

Conversion to black & white done in Nikon Capture NX2 using Nik Color Efex Pro 3.

Please do take a moment to look at this on black. Thanks in advance for the visit, comments and kind words. :)
