"The Wolfman"

Another image to share. This is from The Wolfman, directed by Joe Johnston and shot by Shelly Johnson. I love the cinematograhy in this shot. The coolest thing about this film with regards to cinematography is that it was primarily shot on a soundstage like Burton's Sleepy Hollow and even the original Wolfman movie in the 1940s. Shooting on a soundstage allows the cinematographer to have complete control over lighting sources. Here Johnson was trying to simulate moon light. I love how the wolfman is partially illuminated here. If it weren't for this film's release date, I probably would have put money on Shelly Johnson being nominated for best cinematography. The lighting in this film is beautiful.
