Timing Resolution
By about 0640 hrs I was near Union Jct and watching a Northtown departure disappear off West Hump's board while getting lined up on East Hump's board down the St. Paul Sub. The tracks were heavily shadowed along the transitway at the time, but conveniently, a sliver of light was present at Union Jct--even lighting the station sign. The only thing left to do was to time in the lead locomotive for the fraction of a second it was fully lit and get the shot.
