A typical scene from the Guelaguetza ("gay-guh-zeeeta," flounders Katie) dance festival. The zoom only shows one level of seats, but we were four up. A crowd unlike any we've ever experienced. Only a few fingers of Mexican children were broken under our feet... This festival was 7 hours of live dance and music, broken up every 10 minutes by free sombreros and shirts being thrown to the fighting crowd.
