Patrick Moore wears a Stetson
On 5 May 2015 it's 185 years since the birth of John Stetson, American hat-maker.
Image shows the presenter, Patrick Moore, wearing a white Stetson he obtained during the astronauts' conference in Houston, Texas in 1969.
He was seen on BBC1 on Monday 18th August in Moonquakes - a Sky at Night special - when he interviewed Dr Gary Latham, Chief Investigator of the Seismic Experiment on the Moon. They discussed the implications of the results that the seismometer was sending to Earth from the Moon in 1969.
