A comunicação interatrial é um orifício que comunica o átrio esquerdo com o direito (com pressões muito diferentes entre eles), patologia que pode evoluir com trombose, acidente vascular encefálico , entre outras. O orifício da foto, visível no quadrante inferior direito (próximo a um tubo preto) impossibilitou a correção via percutânea (com uma prótese, colocada via artéria femoral, sem a necessidade de abertura do tórax).
The atrial septal defect is a hole that communicates the left atrium to the right (with very different pressures between them), a pathology that can evolve with thrombosis, stroke, among others. The photo orifice visible in the lower right quadrant (near a black tube) made it impossible to percutaneously fix (with a prosthesis placed via the femoral artery, without the need to open the chest).
