Ranken Technical School - Rhodenheiser Annex - Auto School
Two integral colored concrete masonry units were selected for the Ranken Technical School in St. Louis, MO, for aesthetics and economics. The units selected helped break down the scale of the wall. The red units have the appearance of large, brick units, while the tan color units resemble stone. The inside face of block was left exposed to produce a finished wall, reducing the cost of finishing the interior wall, along with achieving a durable structural for the function of the space.
