I believe I can surf...
A cold foggy mist covered Laguna Beach and it didn't seem like a beach day to me so I decided to do a little sightseeing. I headed up north to Huntington Beach and to my surprise the water was filled with hundreds of surfers. On this particular morning I only had a 24-70 lens which didn't seem like the right choice to get some good action shots of the surfers so ventured out onto the pier to see if I could get a better vantage point. A random surfer was keeping pretty close to the pier so I pointed down and started snapping away. I didn't think that I had captured anything good but when I loaded the images to LR I found this. I happen to catch this guy with a "Michael Jordan like" tongue out as he was ripped through the waves.
