The heat has given some time to look through my 'fridge for film I should be using. Found a couple of rolls of TMY2, a film that's fantastic, that was in the back. When developing with Rodinal followed by Xtol, I mistakenly washed the film after the Rodinal and started fixing for about 50 seconds before I realized what I was doing. Oh well. I washed off the fixer, added the Xtol, and hoped for the best. Contrast and grain was actually better than ok. Just goes to show the engineers who created this film gave the latitude of screw ups from us knuckleheads. To paraphrase, 90% of films are better than 100% of photographers (especially this one). Thanks to my flickre inspirers who keep me thinking!
