6th plate daguerreotype of an elderly woman identified as Esther Cutter Miller she was born in 1786 and died in 1858 She was Married to Samuel V.C. Miller 1781-1852 They were both natives of New Jersey They Moved to Yates County N.Y. in 1822 and settled on 50 acres of land on the lake road purchased of William M Oliver the deed was the first recorded in the yates county clerks office. They lived there throughout there lives and had 12 children.
