Walton lighthouse

A night scene of the Walton lighthouse in Santa Cruz, California is a breakwater lighthouse. It is known by the Walton name because Charles Walton, a businessman contributed a significant part of the construction cost in memory of his late brother.

 

The lighthouse is located at the northern end of Monterey Bay, Santa Cruz Harbor. The harbor is a haven for fishing craft and vessels. A harbor light, located at the west jetty, has marked its entrance for forty years.
