Newly hatched Great Black Backed Gull (Larus marinus)
Along the Western shores of Cape Breton this little one was about 1/3rd the size of the other young in the colony suggesting a failed first nesting attempt by the parents and of course a successful second attempt thus far... Bon Chance Mon Petit Ami!!
