The Poolboy

Oh my good golly gosh my fine flickr friends ...how long has it been ???? Look closely at the shot now....I've got an underwater camera ...an Olympus TG-4 - do I love it ? ...oh I totally love it. Before I got in to photography a couple of years ago - I was a water baby - always in the water. Then with the camera I sat outside taking shots of the water. Considered getting a go pro - and looked at others - and thought no way, the quality will not be great like the full frame nikon and big glass lenses . Thought about aquatech, too expensive and too cumbersome. So when I would go in the water over the last 18 months - i would look around me and think oh I could take of a shot of that, and that and that and so I would get out of the water to take the shot - so actually have not been in the water as much because of my camera. So finally I relented and got this little beauty . Oh its a cracker - I can get right up behind people and because the camera is so small I can get superclose - this shot was me literally right behind him at the pools edge. I was like a kid over the weekend - spent ages in the water, diving in and out , swimming underneath and click, click, clicking as I did so. In fact isn't the sound of my favourite animal a clicking sound too ????...it all makes total sense now why I want to be a dolphin ;))).

I cannot believe the quality - I can now be in the water (where I love to be) AND take shots - I am in heaven with this. This wee little camera has blown me away - cannot recommend it highly enough.

I had Ms. Linda , Ms. Hariraj and Master Keith give me a good ol' gee up on facebook this evening.

I have not had much time recently and to be honest moving forward I am not too sure how much time I will be able to spend on here in the future as it has been taking up on average 2 hours an evening.

I would love to keep posting shots on here and writing my wee stories as I feel that I am sitting down with each one of you individually and catching up and having a chat .

However moving forward - I do not have the couple of hours each evening that is required to follow through with checking in and saying hi and commenting as much I used to and would like to.

So I have been wracked with Irish guilt for the last few weeks about my absence on here. My fine flickr friends, I honestly do not have the time to pop in and appreciate your work as much I would like to - I work 10 hour days, am up at 5.30 am to go taking shots and I need to have some down time in the evening as my health has been suffering a bit.

So Pearl, Ingrid, Dave, Keith, Bec, Caroline, Hariraj, Patricia , Juliet, Amanda K, Frank, Sinisa, Sean, Andrea, Manuel, Ken, Ros and Alan, David, Mark M, James C, James, Sam P, Vern, Evelin, Tonton, Kham, Roberto, Ian C, Fiona, Jen, Jenni, Jacqui, Cal, Fourteenfoottiger, Syb- please come and find me on facebook (Rosie English or Rosiebondi) so we can stay in contact as I am more active on there now together with Instagram (as I can do that on the move on my phone) or my email rosierosebondi@gmail.com .
