I spotted this Brazilian surfer down on Bondi a few months ago and he was deep in thought as he came out of the water - I thought he was perhaps having home thoughts from abroad after the Robert Browning poem or the Clifford T. Ward song.
Oh yes, totally showing my age with this song - but it is a beautiful love song :

I went looking for an old shot - as I have not taken any in a few weeks now - with a 'back' theme as I have had a real week of it. My back got worse, the re-surrection was a false alarm. I saw everyone from Chiros', to 2 doctors, to acupuncture, to getting x-rays and to finally nearly having to call an ambulance last night as I had such a negative re-action to the prescription painkillers that one of the Doc's gave me - my eyes were rolling around in the back of my head and my skin turned a greyish/green - a colour I am normally delighted to see here in Bondi ;).
I am laughing as I write this now 24 hours later as I told the Doc that me and codeine/morphine were not good friends however he told me it would get rid of the pain. He was right - I sat for hours feeling every awful thing you could possibly feel - apart from pain - and wishing, wishing , wishing for my back pain to come back so that I would feel normal again ;)).
However saw a magic Ms. Physio this morning who has relieved my pain and brought me 'back' to life, I've dusted off Mama Retina as the Physio has told me to stay away from the Baby Retina laptop(crazy right) and I have the alarm set for tomorrow morning - ocean/sunrise - I am back my fine flickr friends and ready to go :). Thank you all so very much for your kind thoughts this week also - so very kind :) x
