Hast thou considered my servant ,Job, that there is none like him in the earth , a perfect and upright man , one that feareth God, and escheweth evil . Job 1v8 KJV
Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips ; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my nessary food . Job 23v12 KJV
But he answered and said , It is written , Man shall not live by bread alone , but every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Matthew 4v4 KJV.
God commended Job at that time in history , Its considered by some as the oldest book in the bible , or at least the time of Abraham or just a bit after id say . Notice the complimentary statement of Jesus 1000s of years later . (I was praying for more wisdom and found some encouragement in the book of Job an answer to prayer , read it, its a wealth of wisdom ! Also was praying for some warmer weather and it's now quite warm ! PTL ! ) We get Chinooks in Alberta that is warm winds that originate off the Pacific Ocean , and sometimes are generated in the mountains ) . they come and asking for them they come when needed . I remember a few yrs ago it was below -30, and prayer brought in warm Chinooks and we were spared that dangerous weather . Yes Prayer is answered , so do so but learn how to pray , the bible is the instruction book for that too . Amen
