What does Seb-i Arus mean? The Turkish meaning of Şeb-i Arus is "Wedding Night". Wedding Night is known in Mevleviism as the night on which Mevlana Celaleddin-i Rumi died. Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi calls this night the anniversary of his death as "Wedding Night" because he thinks of it as the night of reunion with his Lord and beloved.
