SfK - A Meeting With The Empire
Ian Drac'qual put his newly acquired transport to good use and quickly flew with his band of pirates to neighboring N'ckel-Patorr. There he embarked to a Terran military base on the surface, intending to hire out his services in anticipation of the coming war. He strode up the dusty path to the entrance of the fortress. The officer he had communicated with earlier soon appeared from within, the doors sliding shut behind him. "I am Captain Michael Richardson. I believe you promised me a disc with information stolen taken from a Centuri cruiser?"
"It's here," replied Drac'qual, tossing the disc in the air and catching it, then handing it to smartly suited officer. "Now for my payment?" The Terran officer smirked and replied: " I do not pay Nova League pirates for ill-gotten goods. Guards, arrest this man and put him in a containment cell. Search him for weapons and communications devices." Ian realized what was happening and started to run, but the ground in front of him exploded in warning shot from the manned defense turret above. He turned around to see the two Terran soldiers rushing towards him. They grabbed him by the arms and hauled him away into the fortress. He was captured.
