-------------New Troops--------------
Sir Tarminus escorted the dazed and Bewildered Sir Ian further South, to where a large camp was set. He explained that he had been planning to attack Granhaven, but along the way had encountered Sir Ian by, ironically, hearing the same horn that attracted the Queen's men. Now they rested in the army camp. Sir Tarminus explained to Sir Ian that the creature that served as his mount was a Dire Wolf, often employed and tamed by the armies of Garheim. Sir Ian nodded thoughtfully. "Aye, 'tis a fine beast." "That 'tis! A finer one ye'll never find!" laughed Sir Tarminus.
Sir Ian thought of something and said: "I have not trained with war-gear for days. Is there a spare spear I could use?" Tarminus provided him with the necessary equipment, Sir Ian set about practicing his weapon skills. Just as he was finishing his training session, Tarminus strode over in his signature rolling gait. "Ay! I've remembered something. Stay there, and don't go over here," he waved vaguely with his arm,"I've got somethin' for ya!"
The knight disappeared around a large rock outcropping. Sir Ian wondered what it could be. He had lost all his armor on the mountain, it could be a new set. His thoughts were interrupted by the deafening roar of Tarminus: "EY! ALL OF YOU GOOD-FOR-NOTHINGS BETTER GET YER SORRY HIDES INTO RANK FORMATION, OR I'LL TAN YE ALIVE!!" Sir Ian flinched. Tarminus reappeared around the corner. "This way."
Ian followed him, to see, standing in the archery range, a squad of a dozen men. He was delighted to see Harrison, Sven and Angus, three of his old troopers, among the ranks. "Yours!" said Sir Tarminus, grinning widely. "For our attack on Granhaven. I understand a few of these are your old boys." "Aye, sir," replied Ian. "Where's Bjorn? Built like a bear, red hair, huge axe."
"Oh, that' un had an injured leg. He's off in the tent." Sir Ian looked over the ranks of his new soldiers, standing proudly in the cold air and sunlight. A surge of strength came over him. "When do we ride to Granhaven? I want to get those Outlaws out of our land."
