Mechanical planting of cabbage plants

With a GPS-controlled tractor with attached planter, cabbage plants are planted in long rows in the large field. Sitting on the machine, two men place the root ball plants from the crates one by one into the machine, which then takes care of the actual planting. The photo was taken on a cloudy summer morning near the Dutch town of Prinsenbeek, municipality of Breda, province of North Brabant.
