Porlock Marsh

The tidal marshes nr Porlock Weir, Somerset.

Quiet an amazing sight to arrive at dawn, with high tide, to find this entire marshland flooded right up to the banks.

The skeleton trees, all dead with the flooding of salt waters and the building surrounded by flood waters, all caused by the breach of the sea wall in the storms of October 1996.

Taken with a Horizon S3Pro panoramic 35mm film camera.

Ilford FP4+ Film rated at ISO 100

Scanned with Sony A7 and Minolta MD adapter and 50mm F3.5 Macro on a light panel.
