BO0753

An eastbound CSX unit coal train approaches Doe Gully, WV on Oct. 15, 1987 with GP40-2 No. 6623 and two SD50's. Those 60 ft. hi-cubes in the shadows over to the right are from a derailment that occured back in July. Eastbound hotshot No. 376 encountered a sun kink about where the power is located, spilling about 30 cars. It was obvious that appliance traffic was an important part of No. 376's make up. I'll never forget the huge pile of washers, dryers, ranges and refrigerators.
